PROBLEM
Continued extraction and refinement of raw materials from the earth is unsustainable, as well as being energy intensive and having severe air quality, water quality, and habitat destruction impacts. Today’s standard forestry and agricultural practices are also reliant on depleting fossil fuels and destructive to soil resources and habitat as well as to air and water quality.

GOAL
Utilize only reused, refurbished or recycled materials or sustainably harvested bio-based materials

IDEAL
All materials in the product and packaging system are reused, salvaged, refurbished, post consumer recycled or sustainably harvested bio-based materials.
